Somsak Sukittanon

Somsak Sukittanon graduated Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington in 2004. His research interests are in multimedia signal processing and embedded control. His past experience includes automated digital communication signal recognition, machine tool monitoring, content based audio classification and identification, and speech enhancement.

He loves to play with his golden retriever, Junior. They spend time chasing a ball (sometimes a cat or squirrel), taking a car ride, and swimming in lake Washington.

Here is his CV. During year 2003-04, he was the webmaster of ISDL.

During 2004-2005, he taught 2 courses, i.e. Introduction to multimedia signal processing, fundamentals of electrical engineering. He received the faculty teaching award 2005. This is the Junior's iMovie that he made for holiday 2005.
